I have been working for over a year on photographing the flats on Hilton Head Island, Port Royal Sound at low tide. Walking out to the water line is to me like walking to the edge of the world. I will be posting more of these photographs on my Hilton Head Island Photo site.

This study is of the inside of Hunting Island Lighthouse. The photos are both looking up and down the spiral staircases inside the lighthouse. The photographs were originally taken digitally in color and converted to black and white.
